The Goal of the Festival is to create an opportunity for local and surrounding dance schools to share their knowledge and enjoyment of dance through performance. Young dancers benefit from exposure to different approaches and are encouraged to challenge their skills before an audience.

The Festival aims to increase the interest of dance in the community. Year after year the Youth Dance Festival of New Jersey will prove to be an arena to share artistic style, and redefine the aesthetic nature of the art of dance.
